Information on this page is for students willing to study or practice at College of Health Technology of Coimbra (ESTeSC), through the European exchange Lifelong Learning Programme/ERASMUS.
Following is a FAQ guide meant to provide basic information on elegibility and procedures for application, as well as other relevant information.
1. CAN I APPLY TO BECOME AN ERASMUS STUDENT AT ESTeSC?
In order for you to be able to apply, your home institution international office must:
Have or establish a valid bilateral agreement with our College, in your area of studies
Nominate you by sending an e-mail with your basic data (Full name, E-mail, Area of Studies) to grici@estescoimbra.pt
2. DOES MY HOME INSTITUTION HAVE A BILATERAL AGREEMENT WITH ESTeSC?
You will be able to find all information on currently valid bilateral agreements, as well as procedures to establish new ones HERE.
3. WHEN SHOULD MY HOME INSTITUTION NOMINATE ME?
Your home institution should nominate you within the following deadlines:
15th July (for the Autumn Semester)
15th November (for the Spring Semester)
Your home institution's international office and yourself will receive an e-mail message, concerning the decision on your acceptance.
4. WHAT SHOULD I DO, IF ACCEPTED?
If your nomination is accepted, you should complete the following procedures:
Fill in the online Erasmus Register Form
Fill in the appropriate Student Application Form *
⇒ Students Mobility for Studies (SMS) Application Form
⇒ Students Mobilty for Placements (SMP) Application Form
Fill in the appropriate mobility agreement **
⇒ Learning Agreement (for SMS)
⇒ Training Agreement & Quality Commitment (for SMP)
* The Student Application Form can be sent by e-mail as a PDF file
** The mobility agreement must be signed, stamped and sent by post to the following address:

5. CAN I STAY AT STUDENTS' RESIDENCES?
Unfortunately, our College does not have a Students' Residence, however, as part of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, we are normally attributed up to 4 vacancies (per semester) for Erasmus Students, in double-rooms at residences located at Bencanta (location in google maps). Depending on available rooms and gender vacancies, the first interested candidates with complete registration processes will be given the opportunity to stay at the Polytecnic Institute of Coimbra Students' Residences.

6. WHERE CAN I FIND HELP WITH ACCOMMODATION
The Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra has a functioning Erasmus Students Network which might help you with logistics and integration issues. You will be able to contact them through the following means:
